Born in 1959 in Tehran. he graduated in chemical engineering
from Amir Kabir (Polytechnic) University. He began his work
in IRIB in 1979, and after 2 years as a writer and
participating in many historical, cultural, literary, and
artistic programs. he was elected as the manager of radio
plays section. His presence in IRIB’s play unit for 17 years
was a fruitful and influential period for drama section and
especially for radio plays.
The engineer jafari Jelveh took many responsibilities during
22 years in IRIB. Among them are: manager of radio play
section, general manager of radio broadcasting, manager of
radio network, manager of Channel 2 of IRIB, manager of
Channel 4 of IRIB, and manager of Channel 1 of IRIB.
In 1993, he was the cultural assistant manager of Farabi
Film Foundation.
