Vahid Mousaiian
Born in Khorram-Abad, 1969, and a theater graduate from Azad
University, he began cinematic career from 1986 in
Khorram-Abad Youth Cinema Center. Then he continued with
making some 16 and 35 mm and video short and documentary
films in the Experimental and Documentary Film Development
Center, and IYCS, and won some national and foreign film
awards.
His 1st feature film was “The Wishes of the Earth” (2002),
and the second one was “The Silence of the Sea” (2003).
His short films include: “Alone with the Earth”, “Ghou-Ghou,
the Plane Leaf”, “The Manes Ruffled by the Wind”, “The End
of a Day”, “The Day When That Man Went by”, “The New Time”,
“Teardrops on the Earth”, “The Breeze of a Cold Winter Day”,
“Those 10 Years”, and…
He has made TV series “All Things About All”, and “The Land
of Dreams”.
Mousaiian has won several national and foreign awards.
