Seigo Tono
Born in 1968 in Takarazuka, Japan.
Studied journalism at Pepperdine University, USA (1987 to
1991).
After living three years as a student in Clermont-Ferrand,
France , he directed a short film,''Ichigo-Ichie'' (35 mm,b/w)
in Los Angeles which was selected in the official selection
of
Tokyo International Short Film Festival in 1998. After
working in two Hollywood production films, he
returned to Japan to write scripts for his own radio show.
(1997 to 2000)
He was also a member of Committee of Osaka European Film
Festival
(1998 to 2000), and since 2000, he is a director at Short
Shorts Film
Festival (Tokyo), which became the Largest manifestation of
short
films in Japan.
