Synopsis: The Love Phoenix is an exhibition of the works
of Ostad Abolghasem Akhavian, the brick-carver, who has devoted
his life to a godly art. Inspired by his spiritual guide,
Sheikh-Attar-Neishabouri, this alchemist, carves his brick
birds. In the harmony of the wounds of the adze of this master
there are melodies of love that come out of the fine throats of
birds along with folk songs that have a theme of love, and make
the masters' birds fly high with the wings soaked in blood. |
