Born in 1967, Sa'eed Pour Esma’ili graduated in Cinema, majoring in Photography at Art University. Since 1988, he has been teaching cinematography, lighting, still photography and video systems in several institutes, including IYCS, Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Isfahan Sooreh College, Soroush Practical Sciences College, Hillaj Film School, News College, Behandish Practical Sciences College and Yazd Practical Sciences College. In 2006, he became the president of the board of directors of short film association and he is a member of Iranian Cinematographers Society.
