He was born in 1955 and studied photography, theater and
communication.
He has worked in the Cinema business for over 20 years from
1984 to the present at several locations-Bristol, London,
Liverpool and Manchester.
Over the last 12 years he has developed the Kinofilm
organization in Manchester.
Setting up Manchester International Short Film Festival in
1995, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in February
2006. the Kinofilm festival organization is Located in the
North West of England. Kinofilm programmes an annual
festival: the Manchester International short Film festival.
In addition, he was also responsible for the launch of
Kino's youth film making programme with disadvantaged and
excluded people. Kino has trained over 300 young people aged
between 13-23 in basic film making skills resulting in the
production of over 70 short films (duration 1-5 mins) over
the last five years.
On the international front, he has presented short film
programmes from kino in Australia, Malaysia, Brazil, USA and
Europe.
