1942. Born Greece
He studied Direction of Photography in Paris in the
"National High School of Photpgraphy and Cinema" E.N.P.C
(Presently known as "Ecole Luis Lumier").
Since 1965 he has shot more than 40 feature films, numerous
short films, TV series and commercial films both as director
of photography and cameraman in Greece and other countries.
All these films were either filmed in 35mm or in Super 16, a
format introduced and developed by him sice 1972.
He has been on jury at several international short film
festivals aroung the world and he has been awarded once as
the "best director" and six times as the "best
cinematographer" for feature films.
As a university professor he teaches cinematography and
technology in two schools of cinema in Athens since 1977.
Currently he is a member of board of directors at the short
film festival in Drama, Greece.
