Selected films Of the TISFF 2006 -- Asian competition section:

We are very pleased to announce the results of the Asian competition section; it was not very easy for the selection committee to choose a few films from a large number of the films which were submitted to this section. 

Although we have received many excellent films entered to this section, unfortunately we were forced to reduce the number of the selected films because our projection time in this section is limited. 

Anyway we would like to congratulate all the film makers whose films are selected and thank warmly all the film makers who have submitted their films to this section.

8- "The last race", directed by Alex Gabbay and Subina Shrestha from Nepal/ 22 min 40 sec

9- "Drifting on the wind", directed by: Maythem Ridha from Iraq, UK and Egypt/ 5 min 30 sec

10- "Our test", directed by: RRivu Laha from India/ 11 min 50 sec

We are really sorry for announcing the results of the international competition section with delay; the results will be announced in few days and the film makers will be notified.
