Tampere Film Festival
Tampere 36th International Short Film Festival will take place on
March 8th-12th, 2006.
Tampere film festival has established his position not only as a
significant cultural event in Finland but also as the oldest and
largest short film festival in Northern Europe.
The festival is expected to repeat the success of previous years and
attract at least 30000 visitors with its more than 100 screening.
The festival programme consists of the international and Finnish
short film competitions, tributes, the special screenings and film
market.
Tampere Film Festival is supported by:

Tampere Film Festival is acknowledged by FIAPF.
Entry requirements:
Admitted all films ( 16mm, 35mm ) and Videos ( Betacam SP PAL,
Digital Beta PAL and DVD ) of all genres ( Fiction, Documentary,
Animation, Experimental )
Not exceeding than 30 minutes.
Films must have been completed on January 1st, 2004 or
after.
Submission Deadline: December 1st, 2005
Film Market
The film market of the festival is the place for distributing short
and documentary films.
Every year many buyers, Festival Directors Distributors, The TV
Channels' Representatives and producers participate at this market.

It is noted that, this year the Festival Director of Tampere Short
Film Festival is one of the international jury members of Tehran 10th
International and 22nd National Short Film Festival.
