1550 short films submitted to the Tehran 10th International and 22nd
National Short Film Festival.
251 films by the Iranian women filmmakers: 124 Fiction, 62
Documentary,35 Animation and 22 Experimental Films and also 8 video clips.
Filmmakers from 82 cities in Iran submitted their films to the
festival.
About 664 films from 1550 submitted to the festival from Tehran, the
Capital City.
These 1550 films produced by the following organizations:
- 895 produced by the private companies
- 520 produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society and its branches
in the whole country.
- 109 produced by IRIB
- 77 films also produced by the other organizations.

Having submitted short films to the Tehran 10th International and
22nd
National Short Film Festival from 12 Islamic countries of three
continents ( Asia, Europe and Africa ).
The countries are: UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Malaysia, Iraq, Lebanon,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Turkey and
Egypt.

Kong, UAE,
Bangladesh, Lebanon and Palestine.
Note: 12 short films which directed by the Iranian filmmakers who
living abroad
Submitted to Tehran International Short Film Festival from the
following countries:
Germany, Canada, France, Ireland, UK, USA and Sweden.
This
year submitting the short films to the Tehran International Short
Film
Festival has been increased about 94%.
About 1034 short films ( fiction, animation, documentary and
experimental )from 68 different countries have been submitted to the festival this
year.
The number of the countries has been increased from 54 to 68 this
year.
