Tehran
international Short Film Festival celebrates anniversary!
The 22nd. National and 10th. International edition of Tehran Short
Film Festival will be held from 15. to 20. November 2005 in Tehran.
The festival has
received more than 2446 entries from 69 countries this year.
We are particularly pleased to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the
international section of the festival this year.
On the occasion of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the
International section we have dedicated a program to Asian short
films and are very happy to present a selection of Asian short films
in this program.
The film makers from the following countries did participate for the
first time at the festival and are so far new-comers:
Philippine, the Congo, Malaysia, Cyprus, Iraq, South Africa,
Jordan, Iceland, Burkinafasso, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Colombia
and Qatar.
The submission deadline of the festival was August 15th, 2005.
The selection committee has already began with the viewing of the
films,
As soon as the results are announced, we will publish them on the
web site and
In addition to that we will e-mail the results to the film makers /
producers.
We would like to take advantage of and express our appreciation to
everybody who did submit his/her film into our festival.
