He was born on 1962 and graduated from Cinema and Theater
Faculty in Cinema field. He has started his artistic careers
by working in theater after the Islamic Revolution. During
the years 1980 till 1985, he has involved as the actor and
director in theater and at the same time as a photographer
in battles during the war. He has involved as the production
manager and producer in more than 20 feature films and also
15 serials and documentary films. He has also some
activities such as: Managing Director of the Production and
Support section of the Deputy Minister in Cinema Affairs in
Ministry of the Culture and Islamic Guidance, Managing
Director of Supervision and Evaluation Department, Managing
Director of the Revolution and Holy Defense Cinema Society,
member of board of directors of the Iranian Young Cinema
Society, Media Visual Arts and member of the Artistic and
Specialized Commission in the Cultural and High Revolution
Council. Kassesaz was the only one among the five members of
the production board who give the authorization to
filmmakers for producing their first feature film. His last
feature film as a producer was "The family farm" by Rasoul
Molagholi Pour. He is also involved in producing the
serials; In the eye of the wind by Massoud Jafari Jouzani
and the nest of Simorgh by Shahram Asadi.
