Graduated in History of Art at the University of Barcelona ,
majoring in History of Cinema.
After getting trained Restoring and Technological Studies in
Gerorge Eastman House in 1993, she get the degree in Film
restoration from the Culture and Education Ministry at the
Spanish Film Library in Madrid in 1997.
She is a member of Board directors of "Huesca" Film Festival
and it's representative at the European Coordination of Film
Festivals (ECFF) from 2003 till 2005.
She is a member of AEHC "Spanish Association of Film
Historians and attended many of it's congresses from
1995-2004.
Montserrat also directed the Native American Film Festival
in Barcelona in three edition which was take place in
Barcelona Contemporary Cultural Centre( in 1998-2002), and
has the production of the Documentary "Who killed Walter
Benjamin" for TV3,Catalon Television in her works in 2004.
